2026 Spring Cohort starts March 2

The PWP Certification Program will prepare you to hold one-on-one consultations with pregnant and postpartum clients looking to improve their health. Guide families in creating a wellness plan utilizing nutrition, diet, exercise, stress reduction, and daily routines. Practice natural health, including herbal medicine and aromatherapy, with freedom, navigating the waters of legality without fear.

What you can do as a PWP: • Oer individual or group wellness coaching 

• Teach wellness classes for expectant parents 

• Add holistic wellness to your existing doula or childbirth services 

• Teach herb or essential oil classes for beginning learners • Host webinars or podcasts 

• Hold in-person or virtual consultations 

• Guide pregnant and postpartum clients through creating individualized wellness plans utilizing nutrition, diet, exercise, stress reduction, and daily routines 

• Support parents struggling with postpartum mood disorders 

• Offer pregnancy support with natural medicine alternatives

Navigating the NICU (NTN) and NICU Doula Academy (NDA) are specialized trainings created by The NICU Translator to help doulas and perinatal professionals confidently support families through the NICU experience.

NTN is a self-paced, foundational course ideal for birth and postpartum professionals who want to better support clients facing high-risk deliveries or NICU stays. It covers NICU systems, emotional support, bonding in intensive care, and how to prepare families for unexpected outcomes. It includes real-life case studies, downloadable tools, and lifetime access.

NDA is a 10-week live training and certification program for professionals who want to specialize in NICU-informed care. It includes weekly live calls, guest experts, trauma-informed training, client-ready templates, and a robust curriculum covering NICU care, developmental support, and post-discharge transitions. Graduates receive a certificate for 30+ CE hours (approved by AHNA) and are eligible to certify as a NICU Doula.

These trainings are ideal for doulas, NCSs, lactation counselors, and NICU parents or nurses who want to deepen their impact with NICU families. Both courses offer expert guidance, a strong community, and evidence-based, compassionate care frameworks.
